| Bob, Steven, Travis & I went to Jose Basin and had a Wonderful Time this Thanksgiving! The weather was excellent and the guys went on some nice trail rides. Me, well, I stayed in camp and kept the home fires burning, reading and knitting and sitting by the camp fire. Ahhh! That's the life! In the evenings after dinner and sitting at the camp fire we'd go into the RV and play Texas Holdem' and Spades. I love playing games so this was REALLY FUN for me (even if I lost at Texas Holdem'), and I'm sure the others enjoyed it too. Travis and I partnered in Spades and Kicked Butt!! Gawd, I love that game! The horses were all in the big corral together and had to figure out the pecking order. Remo (the big bully) is the dominant horse and kept Shooter and Rock Star apart the whole time. On their rides the guys happened upon some guy who slid/drove his NEW truck down a mountain and needed to be towed out. They had fun telling stories about how he was going to handle explaining that to his wife when he got home. We had some excitement with helicopters flying around looking for some guy who broke his leg. What a wimp. LOL 'Til Next Time, Take Care Out There, Mary Tiller |
